Description
Polytainers, Inc., a manufacturer of plastic containers for dairy products, is
in search of a Quality Assurance
Manager for our
Lee’s Summit facility. This position will manage the Quality System, the Quality
Assurance Team, and the Quality Assurance Continuous Improvement Program for
the Lee’s Summit
facility.
The Quality Assurance Manager will represent the Company
with customers and for food safe audits, and report, communicate, and partner
with others as required or assigned. This position will establish and ensure
achievement of the Quality department’s performance targets, including people,
quality, delivery, and cost.
Requirements
This
position requires:
· College degree, preferably in
Engineering or related field
· 5 years of progressive Quality
management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume injection
molding environment.
· Requires strong knowledge and skills
with quality systems such as ISO 9000, HACCP, or equivalent, and strong PC and
project management skills.
· Prefer Certified Quality Technician
and experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
