Quality Engineer
Western Forms, the industry leading manufacturer
of Aluminum Forming Systems, is looking to add an experienced Quality
Engineer to their team.
An exceptional Quality Engineer
will have the opportunity to drive our Quality Management System and eventually
become our Quality Manager!
Job Duties:
· Plan and perform quality audits and
identify and communicate needs for improvement along with recommendations on
how to achieve improved quality.
· Develop metrics for in-plant
and vendor processes and products.
· Collect quality metrics and distill
information from them to guide QA improvements.
· Develop reports from QA metrics,
present findings, make recommendations and achieve QA improvements.
· Interface with customers on quality
complaints, requirements and initiatives.
Requirements
1.
BS
in Engineering preferred along with C.Q.E. certification.
2.
Six
years of applicable work experience in a production environment (preferably ISO
9000) in a lead QA role.
3.
Proven
ability to work with and guide associates throughout the organization to
enhance the application of the Quality Management System.
4.
Must
be able to travel to remote locations periodically (up to 25% of the time).
