Please join our start-up team as we make history in the United States. VVF LLC, a Global contract Soap Manufacturing company located in Kansas City Kansas has an immediate opening for a Quality Specialist within our Quality Department. This position will be responsible for issuing, maintaining, communicating, controlling, and auditing documentation to support the ISO Standards and GMP compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in a science related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

·         Proficient in database management, Microsoft Office, or equivalent computer systems.

·         Skilled in dealing with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.

·         Ability to speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally.

·         Comfort in communicating information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Other Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

·         Issue, maintain, communicate, control, and audit documentation associated with:

o       Standard Operating Procedures & Associated Documents

o       Manufacturing Formulas, Process procedures, Laboratory procedures, General procedures

o       Master & Batch Production Records & Associated Documents

o       Raw Material and Packaging Purchasing Specs and Material Complaint System

o       ISO and GMP Training Documentation and Records

o       Annual Product Reviews, Quality Standards Reviews, and Internal/External Audits

o       Consumer Complaints and On Shelf Quality System.

·         Support the customer complaint evaluation system with data management.

·         Work in conjunction with the Marketing/Sales Group to provide required documents for cross-border sourcing of products, Certificates of Conformance, and Certificates of Free Sale.

·         Support the documentation of technical/manufacturing reviews, continuous improvement reviews, and internal/external audits.

·         Report monthly KPI’s and maintain the Quality Communication Board on the shop floor.

Expected salary range: $35,000-$45,000
